You wouldn't happen to have any details on the new S60 models do you? Kinda hoping for ST50 quality picture at that price. The links you posted only show the following which practically means nothing. 1080p Full HD Resolution Online Movies & built-in Wireless LAN 600Hz Sub-Field Drive Touch Pen edit: Here is what I was able to uncover on the S60 series: http://gdgt.com/panasonic/smart-v...ies/specs/ Sucks that we have to wait til March to see reviews on Cnet. I'm now looking at getting the p42s60 for the bedroom. Only drawback is the fact that it probably doesn't have the louver filter. I hope we get more details soon, because I will jump on it for $620 EPP pre-order. http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/TC-P42S60

My salesman at Abt says they have 28 left of the TC-P50ST50 and once those are gone, they're not getting more. He said he'll sell me one for $950, which is a great price, so I'm going over there today.
If anyone else is interested, he says he can sell more at that price, even though their website shows it at a higher price. Abt is a legitimate "bricks and mortar" store with a big internet business at www.abt.com My salesman there is Lawrence Stevens and if anyone is interested, you can call him at 847-544-2761 or e-mail him at lstevens@abt.com |

I was looking at a 55" in either the GT50 or ST50 lineup and finally went for the Paul's TV deal on the GT50 for $1249 with free shipping and no tax in NJ with free white glove delivery. From what I could see it really hasn't gone lower than this unless you include some bonuses that were offered, which are not anymore.
In speaking with Gabe out of their CA office they have a dwindling stock of this years models and will not be getting them refilled. The promotion they have going on now will end on the 10th (not sure if that means tonight at midnight or all day tomorrow), but by using Discover I can at least get it price matched if I find it lower elsewhere within 90 days. As has been said in this thread, there are always "better" sets coming out, but considering that the 2013 model eliminates the GT you have to determine if the VT is worth upgrading to and if not you would have to settle for an ST in this price range most likely going forward. |

Panasonic TC-P60S60 (TCP60S60) Review
http://reviews.plasmatvbuyingguid...60s60.html Thinking the ST50 will have a better picture. |

Been watching this thread for sometime, seems like it's getting closer where it makes sense to pull the trigger. I'm looking for either a 60 or 65'. I love the VT but I don't think that price will ever get low enough for me. Is there a notable difference between the ST and GT?
Was at Paul's today and almost all the 50 and 55's are on sale for floor model so they are dumping inventory, currently they have a deal if you turn in an old tv you can get $300 off. Salesperson told be they've been lenient on this and have taken old tape decks or anything. |

The S60 will likely be like the U50 of this year. |

Correct. The S60 replaces the U50 TV. Only difference is that it will now be a Smart non-3D TV instead of a "dumb" non-3D TV. No word on if it will included the same apps as the ST and up 3D smart TV's. I believe it was also mentioned that the S60 will NOT offer the Infinite Pro Black panel that the 3D TV's offer |

After stalking this thread for some time now, I finally pulled the trigger on an open box 60ST50 today - $1300 shipped. I should have picked one up around Thanksgiving, but I was banking on the prices dropping as time went on. Looking forward to getting this thing up.
