i'm about to take panasonic to small claims court.
my tv has bleeding and panasonic sent a tech out two weeks, 3 phone calls, 3 promises to call me back w/in 48hrs, and 2x escalations ago. i'm still waiting for panasonic to get back to me with something. i'd take a denial at this point just so i can move on from dealing with their crap CS. i've tried calling, email, chat, facebook nada, empty promises and told to call their outsourced call center. they don't have a single point of contact in the US. I will continue to flame on abusers and killers of deals.
Ban me? Ban them! Ban me? I QUIT! |

Would appericate some advice. I've been watching the 60 and 65 GT's for sometime and have been waiting for the right price. However I'm starting to consider a projector instead like the Epson 3020. Area of use is going to be in my basement that I'm in the process of finishing. Primary use would be tv(sports), movies and some gaming. I'm wrecking my brain trying to make the right choice.

As an alternative to the 55ST50, the 55UT50 is $799 at Costco B&M, or $850 with free delivery from Sears or Best Buy.
Discussion for the $799 Costco 55UT50 deal |

OK I know this thread has been quite/dead for a while but Panasonic has lowered the EPP prices on two models and added more models to their site with pricing.

Promised I would update the thread after BB came to calibrate my 60gt50. They were here the other day for about 45 minutes. I don't see a huge difference in the picture. Its a little bit better (i think) I didn't want to pay for calibration outside of BB since Im cheap and the picture looked good to me.
I do have some questions for the technically inclined peeps here... The picture is brighter... I unlike most don't prefer a bright screen. Is it supposed to be brighter? Or did she just adjust the settings to her picture viewing preference? She was here 45 minutes,.. doesn't calibration usually take 2 hours or more? She said I didn't notice the picture quality change much because the picture was so good to begin with. Is she feeding me a line or is that true? All in all im not mad or anything since it was free and the picture isn't worse My Slickdeals

I just got the 60GT50 few weeks ago and now they pricing the new 60ST60 lower than the GT ever been.
I hope I don't regret pulling the trigger on the GT because the specs of the ST60 looks similar or better than the GT50 with all these new features. |
