Barclays NFL CC No Annual Fee - $400 Statement Credit after $1000 spend in 90 days YMMV

Got the card and 41.XXX point (the 1.XXX comes from $1000+ I purchased). Pay attention when you use the point. If you pay for purchase with 25.01 for example you will lost 2600 point not 2501 point. So you will not get all $400 (a little bit less) but try to apply it wisely.

So I was denied as per my previous posts. I called them up and they said some of my information "wasn't matching with their records." She asked me a few questions and then I was magically approved for $8k. My suggestion to anyone who is flat out denied is to call them. Also, I called the number in the wiki and they told me I needed to call a different department. The number was 888-232-0776.

UPDATE: The 49ers Visa Card will automatically decline everyone before a credit pull due to an expired offer. I assume it's the same for a good chunk of these cards.

1. Can I still get the 50,000 points for signing up?
No, the 10,000 points for first purchase is dead. You can still get the 40,000 statement credit, however ($400).

2. I signed up for team ____, but got the Packers! What the heck!
Some people seem to be experiencing this. Call 866-421-8004 and have them change it.

3. How much do I have to spend to get the points?
You must spend $1,000 in 3 months.

4. What are the restrictions for spending $1,000
Purchases must be over $25.00.
- This is somewhat true. You need to have charges that are more than $25 to apply your credits to.
Just verified with my copy paper of ToS: It doesn't matter what amounts are spent to get to $1000, it just has to be NET $1000 without any refunds or things that get pulled.

"Card members may redeem points for a variety of rewards including NFL gift cards, certain NFL merchandise, NFL collectibles, NFL based experiences, and cash back via a statement credit towards any purchase transactions of $25 or more that posted to your account within the last 90 days."

5. Do gift card purchases work with this deal?
Yes, you may purchase gift cards, but they MUST be from a store: Ex. you can't order an AMEX gift card online.
YMMV, but was able to buy AMEX giftcards from AMEX and get rewards

Nov. 5, 2012 update: Green Bay Packers MasterCards seems to be getting approved; other teams' cards, not so much, or people are waiting to hear. Perhaps a best bet: go with the Packers . . . .

Nov. 7, 2012 late afternoon update: Despite what some Barclays telephone reps. have told people (the Barclays phone reps. just don't know about this promotion, and don't have the information), the promotion still is on and applications still are being granted, at least for Green Bay Packers MasterCards.
