To our xbox emails or to our emails linked to amex? I'm trying to get the statement credit and all the other credits without even participating in the promotions ! LOL I am spamming their customer support line trying to get it

Register your card and your email. Then you get a 5 digit code. Give that 5 digit code to your buddy and have him sync his Xbox to your Amex with that code. Once he beats the game and does the co-op mission, you should get the statement credit or whatever. I'd probably make sure the Amex is sync'd first before the achievements are unlocked. |

Here's what we need to do (looking for a partner in Chicago for this...)
One person rents the game for 2 days from redbox and beats the campaign to unlock the Best Buy promo= $4 That person then goes and buys two copes of Halo 4 from Best Buy for $120 - $50 credit Another person shares the cost of all this and they both end up getting the $10 credit for linking the profile to AMEX and the $25 credit for beating the game. If the two people share the cost equally, they have both paid about $8 for a copy. $4 redbox rental $120 for 2 copies -$10 X2 for the Amex link -$50 Best Buy -$25 X2 for completing the game Total=$16 The timing is what makes this work and is for people who will end up wanting a copy to play online and not just be satisfied with renting it for 2 days. Kind of a waste of $50 credit if you buy 2 Halo's @ retail price -- if you didnt get any of the Halo preorder deals then you can buy from: - Kmart: buy Halo 4 and get a $15 gaming coupon -- check your SYWR coupon page to see if you have any Kmart offers (mine had a coupon for "get $10 [10k] in rewards pts for $45+ purchase at Kmart") - Toys R Us on Nov 9th & 10th: buy any $59.99 Xbox/PS3 game and get a $20 gift card |

Your scenarios make sense if you plan on buying additional games. For me, a gaming credit or Toys R Us gift card isn't something I'm interested in. Also, an $8 game is still better far better than what you're suggesting. I guess I can always wait until later in the holiday season. I expect I'll be able to buy it at some point before 12/31 for $40. After the $10 credit + $25 credit, that makes it $5 which is even better than what I suggested earlier. The only problem with that is waiting and hoping it can be found for $40. |

If you buy from Kmart then I'm pretty sure you can use the $15 gaming coupon on 1600 MS points -- you can use the points yourself if you buy stuff on XBL (buy the Halo DLC pass if you want that) or sell them on Craigslist/eBay. If you also have Kmart offers in your SYWR account (get $x in pts for spending $xx) then those rewards points can be used on anything at Kmart I go to BB maybe once a year, but this season BB will be price matching other retailers and some online websites which isnt bad at all -- last paragraph here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Payme...4400050011 I know BB sells Amazon Kindle GCs in other states (same as regular Amazon GCs), but Amazon GCs werent available in IL for the past couple yrs.
