thanks OP! I used to play this all the time, especially with the Desert combat mod - nothing better than 64 players duking it out online

In 4 1 (even though I have the disk on my desk) This racks me up to 7 free origin games that normally cost money LOL

Are there still servers running Desert Combat?
I imagine I could run this game at 120 fps in Nvidia 3d vision nowadays on my modern GPU |

Graphics really arent as cutting edge as I remember them
Free is always good though

Regarding games backlog... I remember realizing about 15 years ago buying every 'good' game was no longer feasible. In the old days there were only a handful of good games every year and you could count on playing them all.
Once I started noticing my pile of unopened games piling up, I knew I had to start getting picky... Of course it took me about 20 years to really apply that lesson. |

TBH as a client, I prefer Origin over Steam. And assuming you have a valid key of an EA game, they add it to your Origin account for free and no questions asked. Including games purchased and registered with Steam.
