Only if Lenovo reduces the price for its Yoga series, I am all in. Fingers crossed !!!

EDIT, wrong link delete: funny, I can't locate that laptop anywhere online. Must be a new model? Like this one quite a bit but I'd love to have a hybrid solid state drive for instant on. Hm. Also 17" in huge, and the resolution is somewhat crappy 1600x900. Any other options on this lappy? Last edited by ShortT; 11-07-2012 at 05:33 AM.. |

After testing out several last week, I don't think convertible laptops are viable because of the weight. Hybrid designs with detachable keyboards like the Asus Transformer Book, Samsung Ativ and maybe even the MicroSoft Surface Pro are the way to go. |

I am looking for a laptop for my daughter daily school use, don't need to be very powerful but like it to be as light as possible (no budget for a ultrabook yet), which one is better:
Sam's club: HP Pavilion 14" Notebook w/ Intel Core i5, 6GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Windows 8 (14-b017cl) $399.00? Dell: Dell Inspiron 14z for $299 |
