How is the cooling with this labtop? Many new labtop overheat too easy, especially with the video card.

What's the MS Store's return policy? I've gone through 6 laptops in as many months trying to find one that I like, would prefer to not have to pay a restocking fee if this one doesn't fit the bill.

I need a laptop...had a HP and it broke. I replaced with another HP and that one broke again. Both lasted me about 8 yrs together.
I need a durable and reliable laptop...any brand suggestions? Thanks! |

looks just like my Dell outlet 17r special edition but without the Blu Ray, which I don't care about for <$700. Not sure how Dell compares with Lenovo, both seem to be middle of the road.
Too many slick deals!

This is pretty similar to my 17" MBP, only $1,000 cheaper.

There are a couple options for the hot HDD.
1) install an ssd, since it's thinner it will receive less heat. Its Because lenovo place the GPU near the HDD? 2) remove the optical drive and install an ssd/HDD there. 3) buy a laptop cooler Don't forget, certain program will run using the integrated graphic card. You have to right click and select the GTX. I only learned that a couple days ago  3) |
