That would be the first thing I'd change. Probably that, throw in 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, and maybe upgrade the optical drive to a Blu-ray burner. With those minor changes, it'd a pretty damn awesome system.

Saw this laptop yesterday, used, in the clearance bin at Frys for $1,000+. Did someone say light gaming? With an i7, 8gb RAM and a 660M you can play to your heart's content. This deal's hot but this laptop is gonna get even hotter. Don't count on the battery to last long though.

Don't have the money, but I needed to replace my 2 year old Dell XPS 16 which has an i5, so I jumped on it. Hopefully I can get $450-$500 on Craigslist for my Dell.

660m is around amd 7750 which is almost in the league of htpc card . So yea, light gaming.

This laptop is amazing, the specs are crazy for $800..
The only thing that I'd worry about is the cooling / build, structure quality etc, and screen quality is probably similar to most laptops anyway. But damn if I didn't have a laptop kind of like this already, I'd jump on it. |
