It seems like there are two problems with L920. One is that some people are having battery life issues and the other is the softness of photos in bright day light situations. Battery problems have a few different solutions on a windows phone forum (Some people get about 24 hours battery life (excellent) with moderate usage but some only get 6 hours). It seems like some people already fixed their issues and Nokia will release an update for the soft photo issue. This is the first time I heard about the Bluetooth problem so I wouldn't give up on this phone yet unless it really doesn't fit you. Because other than personal reasons, this phone has one of the-if not the best reviews of any phone on the market. |

I thought I had battery issues as well, the phone was only lasting 8-10hrs. Last night though, I let it fully discharge and turn off, it wouldn't turn back on, I waited an hour and then turned it back on, and it stayed on for almost 2 hrs (I used netflix to drain the battery again)... Today, my phone's been off the charger for 13 hours and is still at 39% with moderate-heavy usage. I think it's a simple battery calibration issue.
As far as bluetooth, I've used my Jabra Stone2 headset dozens of times, the first time it wouldn't connect properly, but since then it pairs immediately... Not sure what that's all about, or why people are seeing issues with their cars, but I don't think it's a severe problem. Hardware-wise, I agree, this phone is simply top-notch, very well built and as some youtube videos have shown (look for knife and hammer test, as well as drop tests), is incredibly sturdy and durable. Definitely doesn't need a case, and the durability makes up for the added weight...

But 40% at the end of the day is pretty impressive for 4g devices... |

Just to be clear, I was being entirely facetious
. The reviewers who go on about how amazing the phone is and how superior it is to iPhone 5 only to end their reviews with a "don't buy it because it's too heavy" conclusion are clearly idiots ![]() [QUOTE= Regarding weight; I'm carrying an iPhone 4 which weights 5 oz and this is 6.8 oz; shouldn't really matter; you're not carrying a dumbbell in your pocket. Tried S3 & iPhone 5 earlier, but returned as the battery is getting much worse on the new phones; going to try this and see how it goes (battery on LTE is my concern while travelling). You're talking about 2.5 oz extra; not 2.5 lbs... Doesn't really matter. How much difference did you see between iPhone 4 (5 oz) vs iPhone 5 (4 oz); that really didn't matter much to me as long as the length and width of the phone is good enough to fit in my pocket.[/QUOTE] |

Bought this phone online at att.com as non-commitment. Got it delivered. Called in to cancel the plan as I had to sign up for it a part of the requirement to place to order on att.com. Went through the hassle of giving out SSN etc. When I received it I called in to cancel the plan (same day). Att.com customer care did not want to cancel the plan they said I bought it with a 2 yr commitment. I went to the local store and showed the person my receipt and he cancelled the plan for me.
My wife liked the phone so instead of buying it online I went to the store and saw the phone selling at the same price online with the free wireless charger. I ordered it in the store without a plan - no issues thereafter. It is really worth going to the store - less hassles as att.com customer care is pathetic. I didn't know the stores were giving the wireless charger for free with no-commitment purchases. |

My deal got slicker, so I called in about the wireless charger and complained, the rep on the phone was a nice lady and she said i'll get you a yellow one. The yellow wireless charger arrived today, along with a black one. There is no charges showing on my account, I'm guessing when processing the yellow one she added it on the account and took away the charge for it and both got sent out. Anyone else get their wireless charger in the mail and have a similar experience?
