Anyone with first-hand (not just reading specs) experience of how this measures to Polk PSW505?

It would be helpful if you would put the price in the title of the post.

Technically I can't comment on this as I have owned neither yet... but based on reading many first hand experiences, they are almost in a different league. rw-12d is supposedly much better than the psw505 or bic f-12

I have one, compared to my HSU-STF2...the RW-12 has more power, but is not as musical.

A generic question about subs.. I had a sub that used only one RCA cable from my SR608 receiver and thats how my wiring is done right now.,. (in wall) now this one has a l+r input in the back .. will it work if I use the same RCA in and simply use a splitter ?

BTW I believe I have a coax running through the wall till the speaker which has adaptors on either end to run RCA to rcvr and to sub.

It's probably due to this: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=36664463&postcount=313

Newegg had to RMA mine twice with the same problem.

i think with this unit, left input in L+R will work as LFE input, but even if it doesnt, you can just use splitter and connect LFE to both L and R.

so only left works as LFE but not right.. i guess i have to pick up the manual to check that out.. i really have no patience to run the wires again ..

Generally, if you don't use the y-adapter, one of the inputs will be fine. In my experience it is the left (white).
