Staples Black Friday: Free QuickBooks Online Simple Start 2012 after rebate $0.01

they ask to submit payroll service key etc, is it a simple rebate or we need to commit to some kind of service?

I got big trouble with my last rebate with it. Will skip it unless that is SER.

For QuickBooks Online products, even if you subscribe to payroll there is no such thing as a service key. What they require is the Quickbooks Online Company ID.

I called Staples support and they are aware that this is an issue. Right now they have no way of fixing it other than following these two steps.



1) Submit the rebate through the mail and include the Company ID (9 Digits)

2) Call Staples after you have submitted their rebate and a member of their support team can override the submission, as they do not require a service key. 1.877.266.6483

It does say that online rebates are unavailable for this offer but if you call the rebate team, they can reassure you otherwise.

Once you've called the Staples Rebate Support team and have had the rebate overridden, you should receive your rebate in the mail after several weeks.

Just curious to see if anyone else has shows this rebate as having been processed. All my other SER items show that they are processing or are VALID. This one doesn't show up anywhere.
