Is F80 really worth doubling the price? I understand it's a better treadmill, but for the price difference I would not consider it.

I know some reported software issues, but it's also a consumer best buy. Anyone else care to comment on this software issue. I suspect this only affect a small percentage of the products, otherwise there would be a recall from Sole.

I see from one of the comments, the software issue also applies to F80. So most likely it's a certain lot's defect product, not just for this particular model.

I use to deliver and install the Sole F63 and F80. At this price the F63 is a steal! Yes the F80 has more bells and whistles and is more powerful but for the price and how most people use them it's not worth the extra. Now if you are an avid runner I'm sure you would not be looking at these models anyways. The F63 is very well built and sturdy. Other models in this range are wobbly and not built sturdy. Just try and carry the F63 and you'll understand......like the many people who wanted it on the third floor up a spiral staircase Frown

agree - for the price this is a VERY good treadmill - I went with a Smooth Fitness treadmill for 3 times this much but would have bought this in a heartbeat for this price..

the belt does take a while to slow down when you hit stop compared to higher end treadmills - that was my only complaint

is this the 2013 F63 or the 2011?

They made an upgraded one for 2013:

Edit:

This is the older model, hence the sale.
Newer model has a 3 horsepower motor and is more reliable according to reviews.

I wouldnt buy this treadmill, its the older version:

Old version (This is the one on sale at amazon):

New Version:

Why not just go to the gym? $599 pays for about 12 years of gym memberships for me. Will this thing even last 12 years?
