Apple is still selling these and for $50 more. I say this is a decent deal for those who don't want to pay more to get the smaller iPad.

They were selling this for $400 when 3rd gen ipad came out and this particular version with "no retina display" has been out for 2 years. As of now, 3rd gen is phased out, and 4th gen is officially out. I don't think it's worth it.

Apple should have put 3rd gen on sale for $400, but instead they didn't want to sell ipad 3rd gen anymore because then 4th gen doesn't look like much of an upgrade from previous version. Hence they decided to sell ipad 2 and ipad 4, which accentuates the new specs on the ipad 4.

This is how apple screws their customers.
If you think $350 is a good price for an outdated device, go for it.

I completely agree, apply product is over rated. 800 pound gorilla move over because their is another 800 pound gorilla next to you and he is going to eat u alive apple. Asus t700 or even the asus t300 is way better. APPLE thinks people are lemmings. i don't understand why people would camp out in the cold, wait in line and running over each other for. HYPE N WAY OVER RATED. I rather sit in my comfort chair and do a few clicks online to buy.

You can get a new 3rd generation with retina for $379.99 here for apple and yes there new not refurbished there just in this section till apple sells out of them they are no longer selling the 3rd gen.

Thanks , this is a good deal due to the fact that it beats any android build out there( I have an E-pad) and never has issues.
