Is it just me or do these look like Cabernet glasses. Beer glasses are normally shaped w/ no stem, slim at bottom and wider towards the top end.

i have accumulated quite a few beer glasses over the past couple of years.
russian river when they had free shipping a little while ago, duvel and chimay from 4 pack gift sets, a samuel adams and the stella artois free chalice... and if i ever see a deal on a dogfish head [dogfish.com], an ommegang, a troegs or perhaps the lagunitas mason jar [lagunitas.com], i'll probably have to get those too. i start to worry about myself when i start collecting things, but i guess i am in for a set thanks OP. i've never even had a new belgium beer but for the past day, i've had this urge to move to move to colorado for some reason. |

As for the frosted glass deal... it is true for beer snobs, depending on the type of beer that's being consumed. Not sure how someone said they only found two pages on the entire internet when searching on the subject. http://www.ratebeer.com/Story.asp?StoryID=479 Above is a decent read for anyone interested. I've had a collection of beers served at different temps while entertaining friends just for the sake of doing something different. It was my friends who drank only Bud Light and similar variety that said they could only stand the microbrew's when they were at near freezing temperature. I love a frosty glass of beer as much as the next guy but to appreciate craft beer truly as how the brewer intended, one should follow the guideline for the temp it is to be served for full flavor and aromatics. |
