iPad mini - Order over the phone from MacMall and receive FREE Overnight shipping - 16GB WiFi - $329

I was at a Target during lunch and they have 10 mini sitting in the case.

I called yesterday. CSR was from the Philippines. They already had all my info from a previous phone order, so all she took was my Amex. There's no way for me to log in on their site and I never received a confirmation email. Anybody else order?

Ordered two...couldn't get free overnight, just UPS ground. Just debating should I have gotten Applecare+ and the free next day shipping. Used AMEX for the extended warranty but 2 year old kid is making me debate about the Applecare+.

AppleCare costs $100 plus $50 for a replacement. Maybe, if you bought 64gb LTE models, that would be a decent value. On a $330 16gb wifi model, for example, probably not a good investment. Unless you're fairly positive it'll get destroyed, in which case I'd recommend an otterbox.

go with SquareTrade they even have a 40% off coupon on FB. When my wife broke her iphone I called squaretrade and there were two options 1) pay the $50 deductible and they will fix it 2)call apple and have them replace it at full price and then submit the receipt and get a check from squaretrade for the replacement cost and no deductible. I chose the second option and had a new phone in two days and the money in my account in 5. Super simple.
