The tax would make the price go up by another 60-70 bucks. Still a decent deal though.
They also have this bundled with 70-300mm VR lens plus bag and 32 gig category 10 SD card for 1250. That might be a better deal considering the 70-300mm lens sells for $399 on Amazon. If Amazon price matches this, I would be all over it. |

Unless you can get Amazon to price match it and you have their Amazon credit card for rewards points, Best Buy is your best option. Here's the best part, you don't need to stand in line. I went in to the store yesterday and purchased the camera for $1299. As an added bonus, I also purchased the Nikon 18-200mm lens for $599 ($250 off) as a combo discount. This lens never goes on sale and retails for $849. Since this is not a doorbuster deal, I will not need to rush in with the crowd to make the purchase. However some time in the afternoon I just need stop by the store to get the price adjustment/price match. This guarantees the price and guarantees you will have the camera in stock. The sales associate actually suggested this for me and he checked with his superiors to confirm this could be done.
So far this has been the best price I have seen for the D7000, with just the body it sells for around $999 on Amazon. So basically you are getting the kit lens (18-105mm) for free, which retails for $399. You should be able to get over $200 for it. Good luck. Last edited by alatsacto; 11-19-2012 at 09:27 AM.. |
