Found this link on Samsung site. Instead of 6001, it's a 6000. I wonder if it's the same otherwise? http://www.samsung.com/us/video/t...A-features

This TV is exactly what I need. A basic LED with no frills attached. My PS3 will have the smartness and I don't need 3D. I hope I can order online !
Why is being a specific model for BF sales a problem? Do you think they compromise on components' quality just to sell it cheap? |

Samsung has some sort of deal with best buy that they exclusively get their own model numbers on certain TV's. Dont ask me why but its been like this for 3-4 years (at least as long as I have been following the TV market) They always just add an extra number. For instance, a couple years ago, I wanted the Samsung UN55D6000 but bestbuys was UN55D6420. Same tv, just had a 20 at the end of the model number. Costco usually does this as well. |

TV may show back up at a lower price
I was wondering where this TV went becausse it was in the leaked ad from blackfriday.fm, but not in best buy's offical preview.. just read an article that said they removed it from the ad maybe to return it later at a lower price! I hope so and I hope I can buy online as well!I was wondering where this TV went becausse it was in the leaked ad from blackfriday.fm, but not in best buy's offical preview.. just read an article that said they removed it from the ad maybe to return it later at a lower price! They also have select features left out for some of the models. Samsung is not just making up model numbers so the stores won't have to price match. I have been looking at them for a while also. The model 6030 has some minor feature the 6000 does not, and the 6030 did not have the exact same configuration as the 6050, which both had less that the 6100 and the...
