Oh boy. I am waiting so long for a hard drive. This is a great deal, but I cant pull the trigger.
This doesn't fit the bill for me, because I want 7200RPM. This is 5700 RPM. |

The platter data density increase allows the rpm to be lower and thus generate less heat for comparable speed in the external enclosure. I'm interested in the 3-yr warranty. It's pretty good considering most(all?) of the external/internal 3tb drives out there with similar prices have only one or two year warranty. |
