Iphone 5 Otterbox Defender Case $23

Ye this is too bulky, my fav case that gives great protection is the Speck Candyshell.

Who would pay msrp for such a huge case and expensive case that isn't waterproof?

$23 is an okay price but if ur anal about protecting your phone IMO just save up and get a $80 Lifeproof Fre case, thinner + waterproof.

That was a nice case until the bottom of it wore off and snapped on my iphone 3g. so i got the ottorbox and it was the nicest case i ever got. Now i have the diztronic for the galaxy nexus and its good too. Honestly, the candyshell i feel like was more appearance than protection. People look into the otterbox for protection, not looks. Get over it. Obviously if people didn't care about looks 'too bulky', they would get some glamour crap.

Good price.

This case takes away from the elegance of the iPhone 5. Why buy a beautiful phone, only to cover it up with this type of protection?

The Otterbox Commuter is about the same price if you want something that's less bulkier but less protection (obvious)

Crazy good deal. These are so expensive! To those who ask why you would put something so thin and pretty in this big case, if you have kids! I love my iphone, but sometimes I have to hand it off to my kids to keep quite at a store or doctor. It's nice to know when they chuck it on the floor my phone will be fine. This case has saved my phone more times than I can count. It's fallen out of my pocket onto concrete. One day I was talking on the phone while eating soup. the phone slipped and fell in my soup. Took the case off and my phone was dry as a bone. It's been tossed across IKEA without a scratch. These cases are amazing. I just sold my old iPhone for almost the price of a new one since it didn't have a single scratch on it. If you want to retain the value of your phone, get an otter box!

If i had kids, they sure as hell wouldn't be throwing my $500+ phone around. I'd throw them around before I'd let that happen.
