I saw an article about this on CNN earlier today. Their press release said that Shop Your Way members, (Free to join), will have access to buy doorbusters online Nov. 18, for in-store pickup only. No specifics on what will be available.

They won't give access to ALL of the BF deals. Just a selection of some of the doorbusters...
Hey, early bird! Members can buy some of our hottest doorbusters from November 18 at 5pm through November 19 at 11:59pm CST. Quantities are limited*, so snap up these great deals before they go on sale for everyone else! [sears.com] |

I got an email from SYW rewards that gave me a free upgrade to their version of the plus membership which includes free shipping for 90 days which if I want to order something from Kmart or Sears should at least cover me throughout the holiday season.

Certainly. The manager explained that the tickets would be handed outside at one specific entrance(example: Mens Dept) approximately 2 hours prior to the store opening. They would be for the hot door busters that would not be available online. One ticket per item per family. The tickets were generally for electronics, although other doors may have lines for other large items. Since this particular Sears owns the property, camping is allowed and you must ask the store for your own location's specific details, as some properties are not owned, but managed by mall ownership. I have contingent permission to arrive (Time kept secret, of course). When you receive your tickets, you have only 2 hours to buy the item, otherwise it will be resold. |

Hmm, so the Sunday event won't be for TVs unless they have an excess of them - and the only way to find out, really, would be to get there way early? Sounds pretty risky. I wonder if I can swing by on Sunday and ask what's going on. I get out of work around 4pm and can probably get out a little early.
