I used these in a build for a guy a few months ago, he bought them, I would have passed due to the timings, but I was not able to tighten the timings to test it unfortunately. For me, based on the advertised timings, I would pass unless they were $20 AR just because we should see some equal or better deals coming up this month I would imagine. I am holding out.

I recently bought this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6820231609 It was $59 on a shellshocker a couple of weeks ago. It should have gone front page but it was a selma post that got buried for some reason. BF will have those on sale for $60 or less, or an equivalent set from corsair, etc. Great rebate Companies:
Patriot Memory (4myrebate.com): 6 Weeks Tiger Direct (4myrebate): 3 weeks Rain-X (in house): 3 weeks BAD BAD MAIL IN REBATE COMPANIES: Xigmatek 26 weeks, 14 emails, 2 phone calls (finally received) NZXT 21 weeks, 4 phone calls. Check that was finally received was dated 2 months earlier with a 90 day expiration on it, giving me about 25 days to cash it. Shady shady shady. |

thats some crappy timings. usually it is 9-9-9-24 for 1333 and 1600. Im sure they can do better for XMS line. I can see these as value series though.

Most people would have no clue what the hell ram timings are and the price is great for 8gb of ram. Great deal for mainstream people. But I'll pass.
