World Book Night April 2013 - Application to be a Giver open!

I am so BUMMED......."someone" picked up my box of books from the B&N in Huntington Beach, they're going to try and find out "who" got it but unless they figure out who took it I'm out of luck

I was really looking forward to giving them out with my daughter

thats horrible. my name was all over my box of books so your store is responsible for mistake. did you contact wbn 2 ask what they can do to help or get that b&n store to replace them? the books we get are special paperback reprints but still same book inside. b&n should do right and give you 20 of the real books from their stock! i hope it works out for you.

Make sure you let World Book Night organizers know this. They may not be able to help you with that but there was a screw up with mine and since I got to them in time, they fed-exed me my books straight from the publisher. if you contact the ORG NOW, they might be able to direct you to some places nearby where books were NOT picked up.

These items are completely useless for resale so I don't know WHY on earth somebody would steal them.

Thanks for the great suggestions!! I'm happy to report that B&N was able to locate the person who got my box of books and I now have them in my happy little hands

we did. gave all 20 books away to people really in need and was a great feeling. going to apply again for next year as this was such a wonderful thing.
