That's a pretty good price, probably the lowest I've ever seen it. IMHO, I think $40 is worth to not go out at all on Black Friday. The only time I ever liked going out is when I worked at Frys on black friday and could go shopping in my spare time and hide stuff for later, lol.

Same quest as listed in other forum.. Can I unlock it and use with Pageplus.. I'm not much towards data.. Just need a good phone so I can use wifi and save some Buck.

The 50% off was online. However, it only lasted a short time, lot's of people did not get through online or their orders were cancelled. If there's a really good deal now, I wouldn't necessarily turn it down.

What's with the non-removeable battery and the funky bend at the bottom? I'd love to replace my Optimus V, but an extra $10 a month kinda stinks.

From what I understand you can switch to the Optimus Elite and still preserve your $25 plan. Check with people at howardforums to be sure. There is a white Elite that BestBuy will have for $50 on Black Friday.

Just noticed this myself. I pondered waiting till Black Friday, but there's a chance I won't be able to get one on Black Friday if I wait, and the current sale price of $150 that other places currently have the One V for (Radio Shack, Best Buy) will expire before then.

Don't know how long the Amazon price is good for, but I'm going to jump on it without regrets. $140 for this phone is a fair price.

I actually just had to replace my son's Rumor Touch and we just got another Touch. I emailed VM regarding which phones we could get and stay at our $25 plan, Here is their reply:
"You can keep your current plan pricing as long as you do not let your account expire. You can also upgrade to new devices without incurring an additional cost. However, if you buy the HTC Evo, HTC One V, Chaser, Samsung Galaxy, Kyocera Rise, iPhone or the LG Optimus Elite, you will be required to update your plan to one of the new Beyond Talk plan rates ($35, $45 or $55 plans). Funny how they word that. You can keep your plan and upgrade, but they exclude all of their phones except for the Venture, the Triumph and the LG Optimus Slider.

Reminds me of Ford back in the day. You can have any color you want as long as it's black.
