Its USB 3.0. It's just the title is wrong. The description to the right states USB 3.0 and the best proof are the pics showing a USB 3.0 connector on the back of the unit...

Any mention on a limit per customer?

This should be easier to score than at best buy.

Yes, but according to a review on the second page, it seems that the drive itself is too slow to be true USB 3.0...the reviewer said:

Works well but unsure about USB 3.0 capability
I have used this drive on both Windows (NTFS) and Mac and it works great with both. I will point out that I didn't install any software at all - I formatted the drive as soon as I opened the box.
My only gripe is I'm not sure how useful the USB 3.0 connectivity is if Seagate has put a slow drive inside. Write speeds were a very slow 15-20MB/s which is the same speed I get if I plug the drive into a USB 2.0 port.
All in all, it is good for a 2TB drive but don't buy it expecting a huge performance boost.

Is this model reliable? I have a bad history with Seagate failing all the time, so I try to get Western Digital when I can.

The drive inside is the same 7200rpm they make for internal applications, so makes me wonder WTF the reviewer was doing only getting about 20% of the performance on the drive.

Me too. Bought this drive in July and it's worked great. You'll never get the 5 Gbit/s transfer rate but it's substantially faster than a USB 2.0 connection. The reviewer might want to check the drivers on his USB 3.0 controller.

I don't trust Seagate.

I have had 5 drives fail: all Seagate.
