I installed the 240Gb version, the system freezes every now and then.

That was my concern. I wanted the samsung. The way I see it, if I see a great deal on the samsung one, I'll pick that one up too and put one of them in my laptop.

Just got one from TigerDirect. $122.28 total. I went to the site thru Shop Discover and paid with my Discover Card, hopefully that means I'll get some cash back. And I downloaded my rebate form. So, that SHOULD mean that I'll end up paying ~$86.28 when all said and done, in 8-10 weeks. $0.479 / GB

You should get $12 (10%) back. 5% thru Shopdiscover and 5% thru quarterly Cashback bonus for online purchase (if you signed up).

lol I thought about that too, then I determined my wife would most certainly not notice. She restarts her laptop maybe once per month...and really only uses it for FaceBook / MS Word.

Triple that - I've been waiting for another good deal on Samsung 830. But nothing as good as the ones in Mid-October prices have reappeared yet. So this is a good consolation until one is available.

More space than a 128gb, 256gb preferred. But for the price this is a decent deal. Any suggestions for cloning software to get from a spindle drive to SSD? Is Norton Ghost of Adonis Truimage better?
