Like most folks who don't go to many "strange" websites, I don't get many "bad" viruses. But, about once a year, one of my computers gets infected. If it's a bad virus, I waste an hour or two getting rid of it. I've found running the free version of Malwarebytes to be the best solution, and it seems to work about 4 out of 5 times by itself.
So is there any reason I really need to pay for Malwarebytes? The cost here isn't very expensive, but I guess it's limited to one computer. It seems like the paid version is preventative, so perhaps I wouldn't waste the time removing a virus when I occasionally get one? |
