I used Serve to withdraw back to my account. I needed to open BlueBird, so I had cancelled Serve account. Now, before even I could activate my BlueBird account, even that is locked! And their customer service is sucking blood for hours of wait.

What is the advantage of Bluebird over Serve? I am gathering you cannot have Serve and Bluebird?

Bluebird was the best when OD still sold vanilla with INK. Thats been dead for a while now.

1. You can't have Serve and BlueBird at the same time. Both are by Amex.
2. BlueBird is a checking account. Can be used to pay bills online. But you have to fund your account first (like you do for Serve). Here is interesting thing about BlueBird:

- am late, but if you can find an OfficeDepot that stocks Vanilla Reload cards, then you are in business. Get a Vanilla of $500 (pay about $4 for load) using a points earning CC. Chase Ink Bold gives 5x URs in office stores. But as I heard, ODs stopped stocking Vanilla reloads. You can still find them in Walgreens, CVS. Walgreens are YMMV with CC, they want cash. CVS (not in my state) allow CC.

You can fund 5K max in your bluebird in a month, 1k a day max. once done, you can pay all your bills using this. So in a way, you pay your bills with CC and earn points.

Not entirely true, there are still some ODs that stock (in piles I heard) Vanilla reloads. Its YMMV and market specific. Luckily I am in a remote area and do find some ODs that still have some Vanilla reloads. But I hear ya, this is on road to death. Read my previous post on how to further fund your Bluebird.

No Vanilla in Dallas area. Check 4-5 the day the company wide notice came. Still buying regular Amex cards at OD for the 5X. I dont have a 5X card for drug stores so not taping that. Didnt want to do Debit as 5K in points a month is much slower than 5K X 5 = 25K at OD or anywhere that sells VISA/MC/AMEX 500+ GCs. I unload all on AP.

Man...I was churned 39K with INK and Vanilla since May. Sad sad ending.

I just want to be able to earn a portion of my mortgage, electric bill, gas bill, this bill that bill. Plus any other perks. I know churners milked vanilla+ink bold badly. sad end is caused by that greed lol.

I was told Perk Street wouldn't work because they don't give rewards/Cashback for pin transactions and loading BBat Walmart is a Pin transaction.

I've finally was successful with withdrawing everything to my bank account, closing serve and nearly immediately open BB.

I guess they decided not to fight with me this time, after our at least four battles with account protection guys...

Yes Serve sucks. I was thinking of opening Bluebird but guess I can't if I have Serve. I may have to close mine too. I'm glad they never got many fees out of me. I did use the card a few times but mostly just got free stuff from them.

BB writes in FAQ that you can't have Serve account. Also they enforce it. People got rejected even with different emails/phones. I read all FT thread

Though some were successful to open serve again with different email/phone after opening BB.
