Great deal! My 7 yr old got these for his birthday and loves them.

For those if you didn't want the big set (which we do have and think is great).

The 100 pc set is down to the lowest it has been before as well at $15.25.

I got this a year ago during an Amazon Gold Box deal for $62.
It's a pretty cool set to teach your kids about electronics.

It starts of pretty basic but eventually gets into some pretty cool experiments.

This looks awesome! I used to play with similar kits from Radio Shack when I was a kid, and now I is a rocket scientist!

Can someone tell me - does this set have everything the smaller sets have? Or are they all completely different?

The project list includes all of the projects in the SC-100, SC-300, and SC-500 kits and additional projects like a solar alarm, a rechargeable battery, and a vibration detector. With these projects, children will learn about electric switches, integrated circuits, digital circuits, fuses, and more.

I'd actually say this is the better deal, the difference between the 750 and 500 is mainly the computer leads so you can have a scope on your computer. For a dollar or two over the price difference I would suggest buying a arduino uno r3 [amazon.com].. Although I still got the 750 (for $10 more this week) and got the r3 as well with a bread board and leads ...

Amazon Warehouse Deals also has 4 remaining SC-300 sets for 32.74. These sets are brand new but typically have a rip or dent in the box. I just ordered a set yesterday for Christmas for my son and can't wait to play with them (with him of course). I've never seen a lower price on this set so it could be good if someone wants more than the basic set but is not will to fork out $70.

I have an 11 yr. old - would the 100 pc set be too "young"?

The 750 also contains the solar panel, the vibration switch, and the electromagnet (as well as many more experiments). Stating that the difference is "mainly the computer leads" is rather misleading.
