LG 47G2 and 55G2 SmartTV/Google TV/3D-LED/Wifi $799/$1199
Price is official - 799 for the 47 inch and 1199 for the 55 inch!
http://www.frys.com/search?plusea...%206994747
These are the two TVs on sale, and they can be found from the "Weekly page 1" ads on fry's website
http://www.frys.com/ads/audio-vid...lectronics
--------
This sale is similar to last week's, so here are some of the learned lessons of last week:
0.) You can order on the Fry's website for the full price TV and select "in store pickup." Your credit card will NOT be charged until you pick up the TV and pay in store. You will be able to reserve the TV under your name by doing this though and they will move the TV to the checkout section. NOTE: Reservations last 3 days - those who miss this first sale day try again 3 days from today when the previous reservations are let go of.
1.) Fry's will issue rain checks / quotes for the TVs at the sale price, even if they run out of stock.
2.) Sears will price-match, but it may take a couple tries (some people had to call and push 0 for the national call center as many as 3 times to get hold of a person that would call their local fry's store and price match them). Also, when they say "price not listed, model not listed, etc." just have them call your Fry's and be insistent. Some SDers reported 110% price match. ALSO: Sears will deliver to your door for free.
3.) Best Buy will only price match when Fry's is in stock - NOTE: The last time that Fry's got their second wave, they reserved them only for people who had a voucher already. This led their site to say "in stock" when in reality any orders placed were cancelled. This "in stock" showing was enough for people to get Best Buy price matches.
4.) This sale should be eligible for 1 year free Netflix as well (96$ value). http://www.lg.com/us/tv-audio-video/netflix
Last week's SDers for the other LG/Panny models please feel free to contribute.
