Amazon's Low Price Guarantee SCAM
M3D651SV ia a great TV, but don't even think about trying to exercise Amazon's TV Low Price Guarantee. Even though they list samsclub.com and costco.com as guaranteed price match sites, they fail to mention that when they do the price match, they add in the membership costs and 'value added' things from Amazon, such as the 2% cash back and the 'white glove delivery'. By the time they add all that in, the price of the TV at the matching site ($1698) miraculously becomes higher than Amazon's price.
So, even though you may be a samsclub or costco member, don't bother talking to them about it. I called in several times, and tried to go up the management chain and found taht although the first level people at Amazon are polite, as they always have been, the managemetn people I was referred to were extremely rude and self-important. I was pretty shocked at the attitude and the mannerisms showed by those people. Although I have been a member of Amazon since the beginning, and will continue to shop on Amazon, I will do more due diligence on the promises Amazon makes compared to the promises they keep.
