Went to get this tonight. Saw it on shelf, but it was on a peg with a lock. Asked sales manager how to get it and he directed me to get in line (which was mixed with people wanting to check out and people who wanted behind the counter items like iPads). The line was over 100 people long, so I left. Good luck.
It ain't what you do, it's the way that you do it.

Went in to the store in Warrenville, IL at 9:15, went to the cellphone area, asked a salesperson to unlock the peg and get me 4 of them. Nice as can be, considering the crush of people. Took a few minutes to find someone with the peg lock key, got my phones, went to the photo counter register which was empty, checked out, and was back in my car by 9:35.
My brother went to the Streamwood, IL store - they were sold out. I went back in to Warrenville to get another - but the last 3 left on the peg when I left were gone when I got back in. Still a huge line of folks in electronics, many of them just waiting to check out and not realizing they could go to any register. |

First Target I went to said Limit 1, Second Target let me buy 2. Third Target had a big box of them and said I could buy as many as I wanted...so I did.
And wow...Target at 1:30AM was like a ghost town...very few people in there. I like this Thurs evening Black Friday system. |

I went in at 2AM when it was dead and the cell phone section was cleared out, but the end of the aisle where they forgot to put the $29.99 tag, there were 24 on the shelf, not one was taken. I grabbed 4.

Checked today, Wheaton IL location was sold out. St. Charles IL had 12 on unlocked peg hooks on an end cap in electronics away from the phone section - grabbed another two for my brother.
He transferred his current VM account from his Samsung Intercept (yes, we know - save your breath) to the Rise online - no issues at all. |
