I just checked and this deal appears to be the lowest price per disc ever on SD by far.

Those are LTH discs. If you have an old player or burner (1st generation) that doesn't support them then you have problems. Otherwise these are great! Compatibility in 2010. All later products should be fine. http://www.verbatim.com/UserFiles...ty2010.pdf p.s. These have free shipping at Newegg. Obviously upgrade your firmware on any older unit. I've had very good luck using Optical Quantum (and Vinpower, they are the same thing) with my Pioneer BDR-206. Out of hundreds of discs I've only had a couple of coasters that were my fault.
Watch for these when they are on sale and Newegg offers %off coupons on BDR media. Last time I got a 50pk for $23 shipped. |

This indicates that LITE-ON drives aren't recommend* for these discs. I have iHBS212 and bought em anyway. Will follow up if there are major problems "*LITE-ON officially supports BD-R LTH Type 6x SL with appropriate FW but Verbatim's tests indicate that the recording quality might not be stable." |
