I am not very impressed with the black friday tablet deals so far, so would it be a good idea to go for this now, or are there any more deals expected to come in for black friday?
Has anyone compared this one to the Acer Iconia a100? I have the a500 (which I like) and want to get a 7 inch tablet for my kid. the nexus for $150 at staples sounds good too, but I can't get over the 'no sd slot' thing... |

Hey All!
I have a few questions for those that already own or those that are in the know as I need to purchase one of these two for my son as a Birthday present. I have the entire thread and am leaning one way over the other but wanted to see if I can get clarity on some items: 1) Will the Tab 2 get Jellybean, for sure? (Fact...Not just rumors) 2) Is it worth to spring for the 32GB version of the Nexus since there is no SD slot? (Going to be used for DL'ed book reading, games, movies) 3) For those that have both, can you tell a difference at all in the screen resolution? (I have read both ways on this thread) 4) I noticed that one has stereo speakers and one mono. Any sound difference between the two for those that have both? 5) Processor difference - any real noticeable difference?? 6) $150 Staples deal??/What deal??? BF??? Thanks for any help y'all can provide. This thread has been great help!!! ![]() NEVERMIND ANSWERING! I picked one up after some research. Had a WM GC and got the 2-year coverage. It's a great price...as long as it works when I get it! Thanks! Last edited by CPFB; 11-18-2012 at 07:25 PM.. If you don't need your boxtops for education I can use them!

I owned a Nexus 7 and returned it because $250 was tight on my budget. I do admit I did have the screen separation issue but I simply pushed it back down. I really enjoyed how smooth the Nexus 7 worked right out of the box. I have been keeping my eye out for a used one and a good affordable price range for me. Currently I own a Kindle Fire (not the HD) It works fine for web surfing and email. It's not nearly as nice as the Nexus 7 was. I plan on flashing this with hacked rom though. |

Was wondering if anyone else who bought the Tab 2 had issues with it. Mine kept freezing up on me and I would get a blank screen that I would need to hold the power and Volume up to get it started back up. Needless to say its going back. But wanted to know if i got a dud or is this an issue that anyone else encountered ??
