I just asked the guy for a rain check and he printed out a price quote with an expiration date, so it is not really a rain check but Frys typically honors the price quote as a rain check. Honestly, I don't expect the 6200 to be back in stock anytime soon - the deal is just too good.

I took my Frys price quote to BB looking for a price match. BB manager flat out told me that the deal was too good for them to match, they had the 6200 for $899. He gave me a bunch of baloney about Frys selling gray market items and that BB could not be held responsible for Frys selling that type of merchandise at ridiculous prices. I didn't really expect BB to do it, especially since they are doing so bad financially, but I gave it a shot.

Thanks for that slickjava. I reserved this tv for instore pickup. I have until tuesday to pick it up. Is it a 15 day or 30 day return policy? I have read about it but never seen a solid answer about tv returns at frys.

I use this TV for a lot of gaming on my ps3/xbox and watching sports/movies/ The 3d on ps3 games is just amazing

This TV doesn't come with 12 months no interest like others just FYI, I also picked up LG 55G2 few weeks ago too listed $1500 but 1200 B&M.
Both TVs are good.... 120 or 240 is kindda useless for me(direct tv customer1080i@60 and Asian series online steaming /unknown rate)

I've seen the LG 47CM565 and other LG 3D TVs. I can't tell any difference in the picture quality in either 2D or 3D mode between the 60 Hz and higher refresh ones. To me the only difference with the CM565 is its lack of the smart apps. The Netflix 12 months free business is a moot point now because of the rampant abuse in other threads where people have been generating fake codes like crazy. LG/Netflix may cancel everyone's account who used a fake code (even though many people traded/paid good money for them and didn't know they were fake) or even if you buy a LG smart apps TV now chances are very high your code will have already been used by a SD'er picking random serial numbers.

How does the black compare to a low end plasma? CCFL vs edge lit leds are generally quite poor at this price point.

The odds will be pretty small actually. For each tv there are 7 random digits so 10 million possibilities. Say 10000 people did it for each tv and the odds are 1/1000.
