Are these a thing of the past?
With sprint and am looking to get a new phone but cant upgrade till march.

Sprint has the galaxy s3 on sale for $50 on BF. If you're not ready to upgrade, they have a program to buy out of your contract. Depends what phone you have now and how many months are left on your current contract: http://www.sprintfeed.com/wp-cont.../upgn2.png

So I confirmed with Sprint that it depends on how many months are left.
Mine is due in March, it would cost me a 100 bucks to upgrade.
Wife is up in February, and it is 50 bucks for her.

I asked about buying the phone on BF, such as Sams. They stated at the sprint store, the would pay the upgrade fee, then whatever for the phone. Said it would be different at Sams. I am going to drive to sams tomorrow and ask how they handle the early upgrade, if I pay the fee, no fee, if they even allow this.

So it depends on the place you are getting the phone from.
Sprint - pay the fee (however it is determined)
other stores - no clue

Anyone work for Sams here?
Does Sprint match these ads?
