they are not informed. they are scare tatics. have you ever seen any drug ads that go on for 4 full pages? i've seen 1 full page of viagra with zillion of tiny words in there but never 4 full pages. this readers digest has. if you rip all those drug/health ads pages out, you will have about 15 pages left to read.

FYI for people looking to renew their subscriptions. RD only allows a max current subscription of 4 years. So, for example, if you 2 years left and you choose to renew for another 3 years-it won't work.
Keep that in mind.
