Love my XV-21 but a charge lasted longer on the XV-11.

I just bought one of these last week on eBay. I'm loving this thing so far. It picks up a lot of stuff and the display is very handy.

Has anyone owned both this and a Roomba? Wondering which is more effective and better at avoiding entanglements.

The Roomba does a decent job in my house and only gets stuck about 10% of the time.

Everything I've read has the neato doing much better than the Roomba especially given the price difference.

Damn, I bought this at woot.com a week or so ago at $300 with $5 shipping. I could have got 5% cashback, fs and $10 cheaper if I would have waited. But I didn't think Walmart would sell it cheaper or anyone else would. I wrote woot asking them if they could price match.

Btw, this thing is bad ass. But the one I received was defective. So I called Neato, and they sent me a new one with a return label sticker for my old one. I got the new neato and label 2 days after calling them. Super fast, super awesome customer service. It was hardly a trouble, all I had to do was read some numbers off the Neato and send them proof of purchase in email.

5X better than Roomba, trust me. I had a roomba and it just goes everywhere or nowhere.
Neato is neat and effective and gets the work done fast. It has a laser and knows exactly where it is and where it needs to clean. it goes to every room by itself when it sees a door opening. Roomba is just nuts.

actually, black friday price on the XV-14 at costco is $250 in a couple weeks, which is really the lowest I've ever seen
