They are all basically the same thing except the 21 has differ brushes. I have had a roomba and now have the 12. It's be far superior, the roomba just bounced around for like ever and then somehow covered stuff...this thing does neat lines...I can only compare it to a lawnmower on a lawn. Perfect lines in the carpet.
You will be amazed with it....it's almost like it can see. My wife is anal with cleaning and she barely uses our vacuum anymore.. |

LOL. This is amazing. A robotic vacuum post turns out all these posts on taxes. But we've been paying the same taxes for the last few years. What's with the angst all of the sudden?
This is pretty tempting - dogs leave lots of hair around. But, I also have a hard time justifying $300 for a vacuum. My house vacuum was about $300, but it's a 10amp motor with some serious suction. I doubt this has quite the same. |

I have had a neato for a few months, I had a roomba but returned it after 2 weeks. I got the xv-21 off of woot.com for the same price. Worth. Every. Penny.
I have 2 cats and they are constantly shedding, every time this thing run's it picks up at least a quarter bin full of fur/dust. I had tried a roomba but returned it, it was slow and seemed to get lost too much. That being said, the neato still does get stuck unless i "neato-proof" my house. I pick up all the wires off the floor, and any throw rugs before running it. I also put up the chairs or pull them out sufficiently, and had to put shims under a few pieces of furniture to raise them up a half inch. For Example the neato would go under a dresser but get stuck because the furniture was a few mm to low at some spots. Edit /*: I only raised the furniture by less than 1/8", not a half an inch. I cut up some old bar coasters layered them 2 thick, put a dab of glue and that's it. And I only had to do it to 2 things. */ Also it does a poor job on edging. It gets the bulk of the floor, but it doesn't really hit the edges of the room around walls or objects, it leaves about 2 inches worth of dirt along the perimeter of the room, so i still should clean the old fashion way once a week, of course i don't because i'm too lazy which is why i got the neato in the first place. It seems to play well with my cats, occasionally it acts like it's stalking them which is kind of fun to watching after having a few. Even though the neato is MUCH MORE intelligent than the roomba, it does sometimes seem to get confused and it will do some rooms twice while only doing other rooms once. All in all the neato is totally worth it and i highly recommend it. Last edited by anaxagoras; 11-12-2012 at 05:37 AM.. Reason: accuracy |

this just in: people paying taxes on money they're collecting interest on (and have already been taxed on at a normal rate) pay a lower tax rate. This also just in, Romney paid more in taxes last year then probably every person here makes.
ps I didn't vote for Romney |
