This is why Romney lost and why the Republican party cannot keep digging themselves in a grave. We NEED the republican party to step up. Checks and balances does not only work among the three branches. |

You are stuck on states. I am talking about individuals, |
|
|
And this proves that people in "Red States" are receivers. Which contradicts the whole Republican ideology. If you're talking about individuals, look at the average individual income and then the people in welfare and make your own conclusions. I'm not here to hold your hand and guide you through it. You're a big boy. |

I buy the demographic shift argument; FWIW, I think things are pretty much over for the GOP nationally. (Maybe they can pull out another presidency or two, but the tide is running against them.)
Aside from what's mentioned in the OP, I think Sandy helped Obama tremendously in a political sense. Allowed him to appear "presidential" and non-partisan in the middle of the campaign season, completely neutered any ability to attack from the Romney campaign, and kept any mention of Benghazi off the radar. |

There aren't many posts here seriously trying to answer the question: Why did Romney lose? He certainly could have won. If he were Santorum, we could all agree he was too extreme, but Romney's not an extremist.
Anybody want to try to answer the question? Why did Romney lose? |

At the end of the day, there will always be a group that believes they can vote largess from the public coffers. I feel that in 2012 that group has grown to the point that it only needs a few extra liberals and socialists to makes a majority. |
|
|
But a socially liberal, truly fiscally conservative candidate, would have a difficult time winning some demographics as well. Right now, a significant portion of the population believes that they are being denied wealth, because others have too much of it. That they can be successful, if those people just give up more. That lie is going to have to play itself out. I just hope we don't end up in a nightmare when it does. |

Obama vilified the WAY Rmoney achieved "success." Aided by Rmoney's primary opponents. Everyone left and right, agreed that Bain PE practices sucked. Too often, the "golden eggs" were the ones stolen from Rmoney raided companies. |

2) Not enough neocons. 3) People like free stuff. 4) Because Obama commercials convinced voters Romney is so evil he takes over companies just to kill people's spouses. Joe Biden says Buy a Shotgun! Wackiness ensues! [youtu.be]

It seems that the left vilifies, mocks, or slanders any republican woman, minority, or rich guy. I'm kinda excited to see what happens when a rich hispanic woman runs on the republican ticket!
And if you really want to get into how people make money, Ask yourself how Obama a simple 'community organizer' accumulated his wealth. |
