Shop Discover [discover.com] is now offering 20% Cashback Bonus for the holidays and it is a great time to take advantage and get a good deal on a year's supply of Acuvue Oasys contact lens. (I'm unaware of the other Credit Card company's cashback rewards. If you know what they are for Visiondirect.com, please don't hesitate to share it in the wiki and I'll update the original post. Thanks)

This deal applies to both Acuvue Oasys and Acuvue Oasys with Astigmatism Contact Lens! *These are Bi-Weekly lenses*

For Acuvue Oasys Contact Lens [visiondirect.com]
$207.92 Subtotal
-$23 Volume Discount (automatically added when you add a year supply of contacts into your shopping cart)
-$46.23 from the 25% discount code NEW25VISION (this code can only be used if you are a new customer. if you already have an account with them, clear your cookies from visiondirect.com and make a new account so you can use this code)
-$27.74 from the 20% Cashback Bonus from Shop Discover
-$50 rebate from Acuvue Oasys first time wearer rebate [acuvue.com] (or -$25 if you're a current user)
+ FREE SHIPPING
--------------------------------------------
= $60.95 ( $7.62/box )

For Acuvue Oasys Contact Lens for Astigmatism [visiondirect.com]
$303.92 Subtotal
-$20 Volume Discount
-$70.98 from the 25% discount code NEW25VISION (this code can only be used if you are a new customer. if you already have an account with them, clear your cookies from visiondirect.com and make a new account so you can use this code)
-$42.59 from the 20% Cashback Bonus from Shop Discover
-$50 rebate from Acuvue Oasys first time wearer rebate [acuvue.com] (or -$25 if you're a current user)
+ FREE SHIPPING
--------------------------------------------
= $120.35 ( $15.04/box )

*NOTE* For those who have gotten an Acuvue Rebate before, just use a different address and you will still be able to get the rebate
*NOTE* If you don't have a Discover Card to get in on this deal. You can still jump in on this deal with all the discounts other than the 20% Cashback, which makes the deal "less slick", but nonetheless, still a slickdeal!

since visiondirect is part of drugstore.com you also get drugstore.com dollars
this is true. you get 5% cashback in drugstore.com dollars when purchasing from visiondirect.com

edit: according to this page (http://deals.askmrcreditcard.com/...n-coupons/), you have to go to visiondirect through your credit card company's shopping portal, so I probably didn't get that $27 cashback on discover because OP didn't mention to do this.

REBATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Purchases of 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST®, 1-DAY ACUVUE®MOIST® for ASTIGMATISM, 1-DAY ACUVUE® TruEye®, ACUVUE® OASYS®, ACUVUE® OASYS® for ASTIGMATISM and ACUVUE® OASYS® for PRESBYOPIA must be made 1/1/12 through 3/31/13 and rebate requests received at the mailing address on or before 4/30/13**. Product purchase must be made within 90 days after eye exam. Limit one product rebate per customer, per offer, per ACUVUE® Brand purchase, per yearly eye exam visit. You must enroll in the ACUMINDER® Tool, a free contact lens-change reminder service (after initial enrollment you may cancel at any time and still receive rebate). This offer not valid in combination with any other product offer or rebate including Money Back Guarantee. Offer valid for U.S. residents only. Offer not valid where prohibited by law. Photocopy of the certificate is not valid for redemption. Allow 8–10 weeks for delivery. No P.O. boxes, only street or rural route addresses are acceptable. Fraudulent submissions could result in federal prosecution under the U.S. Mail Fraud Statutes (18 U.S. Code Section 1341 and 1342). Not responsible for lost, late or undelivered responses. Purchases made at Costco®, Walmart®, Sam’s Club®, 1800CONTACTS®, and Target Optical® are not eligible for any of these rebate offers, but other special offers are often available for ACUVUE® purchases at these retailers. Please check the store for details. Three (30-ct.) boxes can be substituted for one (90-ct.) box; same criteria for rebate eligibility applies. For ACUVUE® OASYS®, eight (8) boxes can be substituted for two (2) 24-packs; same criteria for rebate eligibility applies.

On the final screen, my order cost increases to the amount without the 25% coupon...

Any ideas?

I like the discount, but I am spoiled on Dailies. Are these continuous wear or nightly removal? I don't want to have to get out of bed to remove my contacts if I forget to do so before laying down to watch the news.

^I like to proof read my stuff before submitting it and I sound super old. laugh out loud

Also, I wear a Toric (astigmatism) in one eye and regular in the other. Can they be mixed without causing problems with the rebate? I do a rebate for Focus dailies every year and every year I have to call up the rebate people because they are all based on all Toric or all regular and can't seem to automatically figure out I get a year supply but with two different products.
where do you find affordable daily wear toric lenses? Their prices are absurd from what I have seen.

I just get them direct from my eye doctor. If you get a year's supply, you get about 80 dollars back via a rebate. I've never really compared prices as I just prefer the convenience.

I'll have to look. It was about a year ago.

***It was $155 for the Toric eye and $80 for the AquaRelease. I also got a rebate of $85. So it was $150 for a year supply. I believe the eye doctor also gave a volume and insurance discount. Plus I also use my HSA account, so it is tax free.

I know. Some things I've not thought about slick dealing. I prefer the convenience of dailies over weeklies/monthlies, not the convenience of buying at the eye doctor. If I can find them cheaper I will buy them.
