LG 6 Pair Cinema Family Pack 3D Glasses 9.99

hope this works with my Sony NX720... ordered 2 pairs

so I can use the clip-ons at the movies right? or does it have to be an LG 3D TV?

Doesn't Sony use active 3d? I think only LG tv's and the Panasonic ET5 use passive.

My brother just got a Mitsubishi 3dtv...he told me he can use both active and passive, hope he's right or he'll be sad on Christmas Eve when he opens these!

He is wrong, Mits DLP's use Active IR or DLP Link only glasses.

Thanks for the insight...he probably hasn't even unpacked the glasses that came with his yet. So, I should cancel my order then?

Edited to add: My bad, I guess he went with a JVC instead of the Mits.

Yeah, I wish these would work with the Mits because it is a good price but only for TV's that use Passive 3D. I'm not sure on the JVC set.

According to Amazon that tv is active. As someone else said, it won't work.. I believe you need these: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-TDG-BR...=pd_cp_e_3 which go for about $40 per pair...

Using Chrome, I couldn't see the 'fulfillment' options, so I used ie. Worked fine. But an interesting thing happened along the way.

On the first page of checkout, I entered my freeship code. Then I chose 'edit cart' to increase qty to 2. Shipping credit was then correctly doubled to $20+. Went to the next checkout page (2) and edited my cart again, changing qty back down to 1. But it kept my shipping credit at $20+. So when I continued to page 3 of the checkout (confirmation) , I saw that my total price was $0.33. 33 cents. As tempted as I was to click submit, I backed out and restarted from the beginning and paid the $9.99 after freeship.

Still with good karma tho...

it changes immediately after you continue checkout. i saw that too lol.

funfact: it works the other direction too.

in for 2 sets. will see if they are better quality than theater ones or the stock ones.

Thanks. Repped. These are so cheap that I could not resist the temptation to go to local HHGregg and buy them. And I don't even have a 3D TV yet

It is hilarious to see the confusion about active and passive 3D through the discussion.

In for a set. I wanted these last night but the free shipping code didn't work so I bid on an ebay auction for the same set ($11 total). If I don't get outbidded in 3 days then I have 2 sets. If I do, I have 1 set.

BTW, I have 6 pairs that came with my recent LG TV purchase but they're plastic. These are better made. 1 metal for man. The rest are just gravy. The 2 clip-ons are pretty nice.
