Awesome thank you I have similar levels. I do not know...I just can't get the picture perfect. Looks great on movies but then on TV and Cartoons such as Family Guy I always have to tweak it...

ALSO I may return this unit...I can't get passed this one thing.

Picture quality is GREAT from about 5-6 feet away but close up I can see all the pixels in the blacks if I am watching a wide-screen movie. Is this normal for plasma? I never have had a plasma so not sure. Up close I see like green pixels fluctuating but back 5-6 feet away looks perfect.

Someone told me "Most Plasmas have this on by default, it's the anti-burn in feature. I know on my Samsung Plasma you can turn it off but I wouldn't advise it."

Yes it's a feature to prevent burn in. If you watch your 50" TV from one foot away, then return the TV.

FYI, this TV is now selling at $499.77 at Sam's Club B/M. I got this TV last week at Sam's for 549.77 and checked online last night. The online price still showed 549.77 but the Club price shown below it was 499.77. I went to Sam's today and they gave me a refund of $50 plus tax.
