the 20% off any one item, that's "general" plus the $25 off camera "specific" would work?
I have already tried. I gave 20% coupon first, and then said that I received something in my reward account, and showed $25 coupon in my mobile. He tried to enter coupon code of $25, but he got an error massage. He tried 3 times, but no success. So, then I have to choose only $25 coupon.
P.S. -- It was the day 3 days ago, so I didn't have the 5 off 25 coupon...
Ok just took a ride at lunch to browse the cameras and they had the Kodak EasyShare M550 Purple was $119.99 then $54.50 and now marked down to $20. SKU: 855459
I wanted to get my total over $25 because I was afraid the coupon would not work. I went to the clearance section and they had a Kodak camera case which it stated clearance $10but it rang up $2! I also grabbed some Skull Candy headphones for my son on clearance for $9. I went to the register and they accepted the coupon. Paid $11 for everything. Basically got the camera free.
They had a AX550 in stock and brand new in the box at my nearest Staples for $49.99 yesterday, but as usual the same manager denied my $25 coupon because it said "regular or clearance" and not "sale" price, so as usual I walked out unhappy and empty-handed. Thankfully it's only 1 mile away so it only wasted 10 minutes of my time. This manager has a vendetta against me and denies me whenever possible because I once reported someone on his staff for bad behavior to the President's office. He's the same one who told me he'd get mad if I ever asked or tried to use a 1 or 2 day expired coupon again, and he dared me to report him to the President's office. Unfortunately no other Staples are easy to get to, so it basically means I don't get all of the YMMV deals that everyone else does. It's also why I don't buy enough at Staples any more to make Premier. Fortunately I don't need the camera that bad.
That is not ok what he is doing to you, I would talk to the district manager.
I probably could have walked out paying a total of $0 dollars but since it will be a Christmas present decided to go a little over and purchase an SDHC card 16GB style!
Walked out paying just $13.76. Now when I originally walked in they claimed they were sold out of the AX550 including the display model (which wasn't out and was off the pedestal). They had the JX500 on display but claimed the bottom plate was damaged and they were out of stock... thankfully I went up front and asked one of the older workers there if they could check the inventory room. She walked back with the last AX550 box that was sitting back there!
I used the $25 off coupon, a $5 off $25 coupon, I used a coupon to purchase the 16gb PNY card ($2 dollar coupon basically). and I used a $20 staples rewards coupon as well.
So price before purchase of both would have been $49.00+$14.99+ taxes.
Good savings and I am glad I got lucky and found an honest employee!
