Some fine print:

A note to customers redeeming a promotional code for two free Samuel Adams Boston Lager® perfect pint glasses: Due to state regulations, we are not able to redeem the glassware offer in Virginia and Texas. Additionally, the consumer must pay shipping and handling. Click HERE for official terms and conditions.

Users have reported various price ranges depending on location, so far between $11 - $14

-------------
Glasses appear to be factory defects that they are pawning off. Wish it was labeled that way as a heads up. I own a few of these glasses (non-defective ones) and they are great. These are either missing the etching, or etching is partially present and way off center.

It was a slick deal last year. I didn't buy then because I didn't have anywhere to put 12 of them.

Got mine in today... these are clearly factory screw ups that they are giving away... ordered 2 sets, 1 glass in each set is missing the etching completely, and the the other glass in each set has 1/2 of the etching at the edge of the glass... VERY POOR QUALITY compared to the real ones.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet (I'm not going to read through 8 pages of post just to offer a quick tip), but there's another way to get these glasses for free, and they aren't factory rejects.

The only hook is that you have to visit the Samuel Adams brewery in Boston, so it's only "free" for those living close by Boston or those visiting (which we do once a year). Take the free brewery tour and keep the beer bottle label they hand out as "tickets." First of all, the brewery tour entitles you to about 2-3 bottles-worth of beer, so score there first. Second, the "ticket" is what can get you your free pint glass. After the tour, visit Doyle's pub in Boston, which was the first place to offer Sam Adams on tap and is only a couple minutes away (they even offer a free trolly service back and forth). If you order a pint of Sam Adams at Doyle's and show them your ticket from the tour, you're able to take the pint glass home with you for just the cost of the beer!

We visit my parents out in New England once a year, and this has become a regular stop for us. Right now we have about 7-8 pint glases here, as well as that many of the free 6oz tasting glasses they hand out on the brewery tour.

Prost!

This is kind of a rip...I ordered the glasses anyways but I'm eager to see how defective they are.

I paid 13.00 and change for 2 sets of 2 shipped to FL. Would have been 1.00 less to get one set of 2 and so I figured I'd try ordering 2 even though it says limit of 1 set. Anyways, I got both sets today and all 4 glasses are fine. My only regret is not seeing the 12 for 18.00 or whatever last year, makes 4 for about 14.00 seem like a very non slick deal.
