Last week for the Minnie deal I just took a printed copy. They did give me a hard time, but that was $40 down to $10. This time I stopped by a big lots and grabbed a copy of their print ad.
Walmart should have a copy of all ads they price match somewhere in their store, but I would still take a printed copy to make it quicker. I just told them what page it was on and that they could also check online themselves and see the print ad shown on their website.

Ok so I noticed something. I had previously gotten the Belle "My First Princess" doll at Walmart a few months back on clearance.
Last night, I went to Big Lots and got Aurora.

The Aurora doll is a good 2+ inches smaller than the Belle doll. Her head is noticeably smaller too.

Just thought that was strange.

This is very YMMV, but i was able to price match the doll at Kohls and use their 30% off coupon for CC holders.

Very lucky! I checked to see if they would price match big lots and they said "yes, but just so you know you cannot use any coupons with a price match". I hadn't even asked yet! So I asked if the kohls charge coupons were an exception and she said they were told by corporate that no coupons could be used on a price match.

I had tried an over the phone order before that and was steps into the price match when they said "this is below our purchase price, best we can do is the 30% off our sales price (which was like $14.70).
Oh well!

Update:

So I went to Kohls because they had the Cinderella doll in stock (my daughters absolute favorite) and I wanted to try to price match in store. What I found was that most dolls were smaller than the two I purchased at walmart! (See my attached pic)

They had Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, and the larger Rapunzel. They had the smaller three priced at $29.99 and the Rapunzel at $39.99 (walmart had this one priced at $24.97 and matched the ad to $10). Kohls said since the ad states "regularly $15" they must have a lower end doll (it couldn't possibly be way overpriced in their own store....), but that they would do it one time as a special deal just for me- blah blah blah. I felt like telling them the ad states "toddler doll" so I could technically get the larger doll, but I already have it and knew she would probably explode
