Same here, the fellow on the previous page said that this PSU should be fine for moderate gaming which is about all im after also. This would be the first part I buy towards a build.

i have a moderate gaming comp, i would say this is a good power supply, made by Seasonic,plus its cheaper with the rebate

I own this PSU, have had it for about 2 years.

Runs like a top, quiet operation, is practically bronze certified 80+, no issues.

Even the connector cords are long.

I've owned the 520C, 620C and several of the earthwatts line on top of 2 of the 400W $11 HCG frontpage PSUs. None have failed, all run perfectly.

In fact, I've never once seen an antec PSU die. I'm sure they do, but not for me...yet.

520C will run a quadcore CPU and a 7970 all overclocked to the hilt with all the accessory trimmings no problem.

So just got the antec after a lot of consideration...im gonna be a daredevil and risk it ;-) ...have never had any DOA from newegg...and im willing to believe that people who say they do, are not that tech savvy as to do a simple troubleshoot.

The system came with a more than decent keyboard and mouse..

The newer 4gb samsung memory added to the system will downclock to 1333 mhz and still run dual channel with the other stick...got it to future proof my purchase...planning on changing mobo a good time down the lane when i have time and OC'ing...will come in handy then as it is a great overclocker.

Anyways, All said and done(post-rebate total)...i built this complete system with minimal rebates and the total comes down to...

$196 + $18.99 + $24.99 + $39.99 + $42 = $321.97 !!!!

So for $322 (or just $280 for the CPU) what do you think of this rig? Done justice or not ? mid-level light gaming...mostly media.

I went ahead and bought this one to. Im excited to get a build going so i can return to some casual gaming. Last games I played were battlefield 2 and modern warfare 4. So hopefully there are some new additions to delve into. That setup looks nice and way cheaper than what i was thinking. I was picturing at least $500 for a decent setup. Thank you guys for posting your other parts and setups. Really helps the planning!
