Crap....to buy or not to buy. I just bought one at staples for $75 after tax using a $25 off coupon, and that was no front page deal. I "kind of need" one for a laptop build i'm doing, but I can totally wait if BF will bring better or the same. Yeah...

"I see that Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Moday advertisements and sales are excluded from Price Matching. What about sales that include Black Friday and Cyber Monday? If the sale or advertisement is specifically available for only Black Friday or Cyber Monday, then it would be excluded. But if the advertisement is available on other days as well, including Black Friday or Cyber Monday, then it is eligible." https://www.paypal-promo.com/holi...match.ht |

Yes, but the best deals on things like the m4 and 830 will be "Black Wednesday" or even "Black Tuesday" or a Tigerdirect Friday and Saturday 48 hour Deal etc etc. BF is not the end all be all of days anymore. If you wait until Friday, you'll have missed most of the great deals. Yes, SSD's will be doorbusters at some places (but they are not like a $600 60" TV on Wally World's front page) and the doorbuster ones will more than likely be trying to break $100 for a 240-256GB or $50 for a 128gb. . .and they will be using the lesser quality models for those marketing gimmicks.
IMO, I am just trying to make next week's shopping adventure easier where I can and save those battles for bigger ticket items. I don't want to lose a newegg 3am lappy deal because I spent an extra 30 seconds adding an SSD to my cart to save an extra $5. . .when in fact this is a great deal on the SSD already, and will probably get $5-10 back from the paypal price guarantee. Not harshing, just giving my opinions. And yes, don't think that if you send payapl a copy of an Amazon lightning BF deal (that lasts less than a minute) that you will be compensated.

I don't want to turn this into a PS3 discussion, so I ask with hesitation, but what make of SSD drive is suitable for upgrading a PS3? I have an older (fat) 60GB PS3, and I would like to upgrade it with an SSD just to speed up some of the load times, etc.
Going to a 128GB drive like this seems like a good upgrade...but what else should I look for in a SSD drive? Specs, makes/models, drive height? Out of all the drives out there, what is the most reliable? Thanks so much for any help...I'm completely lost when it comes to SSD specs. |

Cool, sounds good, I will be on the lookout for good SSD deals before BF/CM. Thanks
