I just read through the above links on Linksys PAP-2T and I don't believe that works the same as Obihai 100/100.
With that setup, for outbound calls we still need to use web browser to GV site to dial out. PAP-2T does not help in dialing out. Whereas Obihai is completely transparent - we pick up analog home phone, dial out, and remote party sees our GV number in Caller-ID. No computer necessary. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, links above use SipGate. And it seems other providers such as CallCentric would work the same. I don't understand why SipGate has to be used.

I setup the obi110 a couple months ago and and paid for the line port/device in 1 month (from removing the telephone line of business and getting a customer retention discount for 6 months to keep cable and inet with Cox). The reason I bought the 110 is because I wanted to wire it into my existing phone block so it would 'energize' all my home phone ports. For anyone else that wants to wire it this way, I believe the 100 will also energize the home lines, but the 110 definitely will.
