I must admit I almost bought one, but I don't quite understand the gameplay. We have the "vanilla" Angry Birds tabletop game, and at least you set up the pigs in a variety of ways before knocking them down. This (Star Wars) version seems to trade a bit too much on style and too little on substance (of game play). I've heard the SW AB app is clever, but that you have to spend a fair amount to unlock the whole game (esp. on an iPad). Even so, I think I'd rather spend $7-$10 on the app instead of this one-hit-wonder (read: my kids will play with it a few times and then ignore it). Still, good find OP. |

I got this to give as a gift and it arrived open, and the box is defective (the box art was applied over the window opening and the cutout for the window was placed over carboard).
Anyone else have this issue? I guess this is why it was discounted? Last edited by tranceFusion; 11-16-2012 at 12:30 PM.. |
