Entered all my buttons and won nothing. Oh well. The buttons are cute!

Just got back from my local JCP. Today the cashiers were told to only hand out 1 button at a time and no more stacking! However, the registers are still accepting multiple HCs as long as they are the same denomination, so the cashier still let me stack. I tried to stack at the jewelry counter for a $50 ring my mom has been eye-balling, and the jewelry associate said that they never did allow stacking in jewelry (even though I've heard others say that they did it without issue). Seems the rules are changing, and I wish everyone good luck!

Just got back as well. I was told by an associate they can no longer stack but he let me do it any way. Went to another associate later who was going to let me stack and then one beside him told him not to. Decided to just get a bunch of $5 and $10, went to another associate who said oh just give me them all you can stack. It is hit and miss out there but I suspect it will all be no stacking soon. In any event, you can always do multiple transactions!

I was on the phone with a friend earlier today and the subject of the Pennys buttons came up, their two local stores (about 30 miles apart) are only accepting one HC at a time and only allowing two transactions per day with HCs They also only hand out two buttons a time because you can only enter "two per day"

I am starting to get really fed up with this promotion and my good will to Pennys is rapidly dwindling, they are making a big scene out of the button campaign but are just making it too restrictive to use the Holiday Certificates, for me, it's almost not worth the time and effort to be part of this promotion without taking into account the extra money that has been spent on gas with some extra visits to our nearest JCPenny. OK. that's my little rant over, going to go and eat some of the candy I picked up in store yesterday.

I think we won 3 $10 certs. I guess I'll have to buy something on each floor. Our store seems to be going down hill though. They didn't have any flannel sheets. They didn't even have any sheets for a twin.

Gotta love the associates rudely informing people there only allowed one button. When they hadn't even gotten a button yet.

I really don't understand why they wouldn't stack the certs. One $100 item or 10 $10 items is still $100! I swear I want to go balls out and try to get a Keurig for my DH.

An associate told me they didn't get it either. The only thing I can think of is that most people will not take the time and search for things that are exactly $10 or $5. They at least spend a few dollars and that is money for JCP. They don't know slickdealers obviously. If you really want that Keurig you can always get a bunch of $10 items and bring them back without a receipt. You will get 80% of the current selling price back (or all of it sometimes) on a gift card. Then you can go get your Keurig! I got a shirt for my SO and it didn't fit. I took it back today without the receipt and they gave me full price and put it on a GC. I used it to pay for the overage after my HCs.

So got $616 worth of merchandise (at their priced) for free. not much really, at the way end, i'll post the actual list.

So far, my local ghetto jcp is AWESOME with stacking, i'm sure they're fearful of closure, so may customers happy? i guess...

my sister wins $90 worth with 15 emails one day, and wins $10 another day. something is up. then again, her low day is my high day of $25 with 2 e-mails.

I don't have enough buttons collected to get all emails done everyday by a famil friend while we are out cruising, but oh well. I DO want a new workout wardrobe, including shoes, and some pyrex tupperware.

I'm loving my sales associates and giving HUGE shoutouts when i do the surveys at the end of the receipts.

I was talking to a customer service rep a few hours ago so I asked him about stacking. He said it was fine to do so. The item I wanted to buy was online only so he told me to take my holiday certificates to the service desk and have them order it for me so I could blow my wad that way.

I've got to get some dummy email accounts. I've just been using the one and have noticed I've had crap luck the last few days.

95 buttons and got $125! All of them were $10 and 1 $5... seems like I am getting about 1 out of 10 a winnerish

Do you need to spend over $10 to use a $10 certificate or can I just purchase something that is $10?

I think they printed the same code multiple times sometimes! I was entering the code for one and I was like like hey this code looks familiar =\ And then checked my pile and saw that the code was on another pin too! When that happens I don't get an email, just something that says sorry not an instant winner
